50% Sale + Ascent Lootbox

We are doing a whopping 50% sale on our store, you can get lootboxes, trails, and much more at (https://midnightsky.net)! (Will be available upon release)

Dynamic Chests

Yes we've heard you loud and clear about your opinions on our old chest system. We're excited to announce a new way of obtaining loot, the Dynamic Chests!

Intro to Dynamic Chests: These aren't your average chests! These spawn in specific adventures after you've slain a certain number of mobs. The number of mobs you need to defeat for a Dynamic Chest to appear varies according to the type of adventure you're in.

  • Bandit Grasslands Adventure: Kill 9 mobs for a chest in the lawful adventure, or 8 in the chaotic adventure.
  • Ancient Savannah Adventure: Kill 11 mobs for a chest in the lawful adventure, or 10 in the chaotic adventure.
  • Forsaken Underworld Adventure: Kill 13 mobs for a chest in the lawful adventure, or 12 in the chaotic adventure.

Chest Quality: Here's where things get really interesting. The "Quality" of your Dynamic Chest isn't random; it depends on the type of the mobs you defeat. The tougher the enemy, the higher chance of getting the best loot. For instance, defeat all T5 bandits and you could be rewarded with a coveted Mythic Chest.

Instant Loot: No more waiting around to unlock your hard-earned loot! You can now left-click the chest to instantly break it, revealing your loot on the spot. Remember, the higher the quality of the chest, the better the potential rewards!

Adventure Skills
Awwww yeahhh, this guy right here may be familiar to some, but now you can become even stronger in adventure.

Intro to Adventure Skills:
  • Adventure Skills are specialized buffs that players can upgrade through the '/adv skills' command.
  • Players must reach specific adventure levels and purchase tokens to unlock and enhance Adventure Skills.
Understanding Adventure Level and Adventure XP:
  • Adventure levels represent your progression in the game and are increased by accumulating Adventure XP.
  • The XP threshold required to level up increases as you advance, offering a progressively challenging experience.
  • Adventure XP is earned at a rate of 2x your earned Adventure Points (AP), allowing for steady progression.
Adventure Skill Tokens: Tokens are the key to unlocking Adventure Skills. You can purchase these once you reach the necessary adventure level. Your journey doesn't stop until you hit the ceiling - the max adventure level of 100!

Benefits per Adventure Level:
  • Level 35 = Unlock Quests.
  • Level 65 = You can now encounter Mini-Bosses.
  • Level 75 = Ability to spawn Dynamic Mythic Chests
  • Level 85 = Ability to spawn and Join Boss Fights
  • Level 95 = Boost your chances of finding Mythic Chests
  • Level 100 = Gain early access to the next Adventure Map. Outpace everyone else! (Note: Once the level cap is hit, any players can claim the map)

Purity Amplifier
Hate RNG? Same here! Let's eliminate this by adding the purity amplifier!

Intro to Purity Amplifier: Purity is a key factor in determining the effectiveness of a particular stat on your gear. It indicates how closely a stat aligns with its maximum value. We're introducing a new system that allows you to enhance your item's Purity using in-game currency. This means that you can now invest your hard-earned money to incrementally increase the Purity of your chosen stat, edging it closer to its maximum value.

Amplification of Purity:
  • Purity can be amplified by talking to the blacksmith which is located at the right side of the spawn.
  • For our Rank 5 donors, simply use the /blacksmith command to access this feature.
  • To amplify the purity on a weapon/armor piece, select 'Purity Amplifier' in the blacksmith's menu, then choose the weapon/armor piece you'd like to amplify. Left-click the stat you'd like to amplify. Assuming you have adequate currency, you'll be able to increase the item's stat purity by 1%.

Engrams
Armor and weapons needed a little "umph". It was too... simple. Let's make your armor set unique!

Intro to Engrams: Engrams are special enhancements that can be applied to your armor pieces, adding unique abilities and buffs to your gear. Each engram comes in three levels - the higher the level, the stronger the engram.

Application of Engrams:
  • Engrams can be infused into your equipment by interacting with the blacksmith, located to the right of spawn.
  • For our Rank 5 donors, simply use the /blacksmith command to access this feature.
  • To apply an engram, select 'Engram Infuser' in the blacksmith's menu, then click your weapon or armor piece first, then click the engram to be infused.
  • To remove an engram, place your item in the same GUI and right-click the engram to shatter it. (Please note: Once applied, engrams cannot be recovered)
YmJukqE0S9WcuB0Pkbt2yY3wOBrFKNO3Vbz83z72.png

  • Weapon engram cooldown's will be global (You can use one ability at a time, you cannot use all of them at the same time)
  • You can obtain these engrams from Minibosses

Special Weapons
What's the fun in having to grind for 1 main weapon? This time we've made some weapons have "specials".

Intro to Special Weapons:
  • Special Weapons are weapons that have their own abilities to make them more "unique".
  • The issue last season is that there was 1 "good" weapon. (Ex: Vicious Sword)
  • Having abilities gives a lot of variance to the style of how you farm.
Current Specials:
  • Cleave: Chance to deal a % of your current attack's damage as AoE damage to enemies in a certain radius. (Your current attack will deal the normal damage to the enemy you hit, the AOE is additional damage)
  • Retribution: Deal more damage the lower HP you have.

Island Expansion
WOOOO, just the addition of this opens different worlds of opportunity (haha, get it? Because worlds... you know what. Nvm)

Introduction to Island Expansion:
  • Island Expansion is a feature that adds breadth to the existing Skyblock islands.
  • We've introduced a total of nine new islands, each with their unique benefits.
  • Farming, mining, and slaying drop "Portal Shards". By crafting these shards using /crafting, you can create Island Portals to access these new expansions.
  • To activate an Island Portal, right-click the crafted item on the ground and run the command /is expansion. This will open a GUI with three categories: Farming, Fishing, and Slaying. You can activate one island per category at a time, making for a total of three active Island Expansions simultaneously.
  • To access other islands within the same category, deactivate the current island and then activate the desired one. Farming Islands span 4x4 chunks, while Slaying & Mining Islands cover a 2x2 chunk area.
Island Types:
  • Mining
    • Sacred Mines: 10% chance of each mined block counting as double towards /is mining progress. Nodes contribute an additional 5% towards /is top value.
    • Renowned Reserves: Nodes spawn 1.1x faster and have a 10% chance of double drops.
    • Destructive Quarries: Nodes provide +25% island XP on bot mine and +30% island XP on player mine.
  • Slaying
    • Forbidden Asylum: 10% chance of each mob kill counting as double towards /is slaying progress. Spawners contribute an additional 5% towards /is top value.
    • Bloody Haven: Mobs have a 5% chance of double drops and spawn 10% faster.
    • Savage Sanctuary: Mobs grant +25% Island XP and +5% vanilla XP on slaying.
  • Farming
    • Protected Field: 10% chance of each crop farmed counting as double towards /is farming progress. Crops grow 10% faster and grant 10% more island XP.
    • Untapped Meadow: 3.5% chance of getting 2x crop drops and crops grow 25% faster.
    • Invulnerable Plantation: Crops grant an additional 25% island XP and grow 10% faster.

Island Fishing
As many of you know, "Blub blub blub". We added some fishing to islands

Intro to Fishing:
We're excited to introduce a brand new feature to your island experience - Fishing! This new system presents an new way to upgrade your island and earn in-game money.

The Fishing Rod:
Get started by buying a Fishing Rod from /shop, your tool for this new feature. This is not just any rod - this one can be leveled up! The level of your Fishing Rod, coupled with your Island Level requirements, determines the tier of fish you can catch. The higher your rod and island levels, the better the fish you can reel in. Here are the level requirements:
  • Fishing Rod Level 0 | Island Level 0 | Trout
  • Fishing Rod Level 20 | Island Level 50 | Salmon
  • Fishing Rod Level 52 | Island Level 75 | Clownfish
  • Fishing Rod Level 64 | Island Level 88 | Leech
  • Fishing Rod Level 75 | Island Level 94 | Pufferfish
  • Fishing Rod Level 86 | Island Level 102 | Squid
  • Fishing Rod Level 98 | Island Level 112 | Blob Fish
Gaining Fishing Rod XP: With each successful catch, you'll gain a certain amount of Fishing Rod XP. The more you fish, the more XP you'll accumulate, thus leveling up your rod and unlocking the ability to catch higher-tier fish.

Fish Types: There are various fish species, each with their unique values. The current fish types include: Trout, Salmon, Clownfish, Leech, Pufferfish, Squid, and Blobfish. Note that each catch won't be guaranteed - there will be a chance for the fish to escape. This adds a layer of challenge to your fishing adventure.

Fishing Values: The most important about fishing being added is that this will give you island XP & money. Here are prices, island XP usages and bot usages.

  • Trout | 420 Island XP | 532 Power Per Action | $321 Sell Price ($438 Cooked)
  • Salmon | 2,427 Island XP | 3,236 Power Per Action | $938 Sell Price ($1,465 Cooked)
  • Clownfish | 7,559 Island XP | 10,647 Power Per Action | $4,570 Sell Price
  • Pufferfish | 56,700 Island XP | 85,909 Power Per Action | $21,875 Sell Price
  • Squid | 152,235 Island XP | 236,023 Power Per Action | $36,712 Sell Price
  • Blob Fish | 1,429,333 Island XP | 2,382,222 Power Per Action | $166,667 Sell Price

Automation Customizability + Additions
Islands needed more complexity, it needed some change and customizations. Let's create some strategy.

Power Generators:
  • Power Generators are items that can be placed on your island to boost your passive power production.
  • Simply right-click on the ground to place a generator.
  • There are three types of Power Generators:
    • Thermal Generators
    • Wind Turbines
    • Solar Panels
  • Some generators might require certain conditions to operate (like Thermal Generators requiring heat in it's proximity to function) to receive the passive power boost.
Power Outage:
Beware the new concept of "Power Outage". If your island's power bank hits zero, you'll experience a power outage, during which your island will cease to produce power for 5 minutes. After this period, power will slowly return to its normal state. This feature is designed to bring strategic depth when planning bot usages.

Power Meter:
  • To help players monitor their power status, we've added a "Power Outage Meter". This meter indicates the efficiency of your power usage, i.e., how much power is being consumed per second on your island. You can check your Power Meter in the /is power GUI. The Meter is color-coded:
    • RED: You are close to a power outage.
    • YELLOW: You are consuming power at a sustainable rate.
    • GREEN: You have surplus power.
  • If you choose to manual power management, this feature will be disabled.
Manual Power Management:
  • For those who like to micromanage, we present Manual Power Management!
  • With this option enabled, you take full control over your power usage
  • Opting for Manual Power Management increases your power production by 25%.
  • When managing power manually, you can place custom "Power Generators".
    • These special blocks let you determine how much energy is dispensed per second (this will be deducted from your power bank).
    • If there's a bot nearby, it will use the Power Generator's output for its operation.

Masteries
Introduction to Masteries:

  • A new progression feature is coming to the game: Masteries! You can access your masteries by using the command /masteries.
Mastery Categories:
  • Once you run the command, you'll find four different Mastery Categories to choose from: Farming, Slaying, Mining, and Fishing.
  • Each category contains specific Mastery Types - for instance, in the Slaying category, you'll encounter different mobs such as Rabbit, Cow, Endermite, etc.
Mastery Tiers:
  • Each Mastery Type features multiple Mastery Tiers. To start progressing in a Mastery Tier, you'll need to meet two prerequisites:
    • Reach the necessary Mastery Level for that tier.
    • Complete the previous Mastery Tier. Note that this is not a requirement if you're starting a Mastery type.
  • When you complete a Mastery Tier, your overall Mastery Level increases by 1.
Rewards:
  • Completion of a Mastery Tier also rewards you with either a special item or a passive buff
  • All current Masteries that are completed up to Tier 10 will grant a 500 Island Point note.

Auto Bot Overhaul
Bots need some more customization. They were too simple minded. Time for you to put in that thinking cap!

Bot Tier System:
  • We're introducing a new tier system for Auto Bots! Every bot now starts at Tier I and can be upgraded up to Tier VI.
Bot Upgrades:
  • Auto Bots can now be upgraded by reaching their XP thresholds. Please note, XP thresholds vary by level.
  • Once a bot has reached its XP threshold, it can be leveled up. To do this, combine two bots of the same level that have both reached their XP thresholds using the /autobot command (or /botforge). Select both bots in the Auto Bot GUI, then click on the resulting bot.
Bot Enhancements:
  • When you successfully combine two bots, they'll evolve into a single, higher-tier bot with an "Enhancement". This enhancement is a permanent upgrade for that bot.
  • As part of this update, we've added a new attribute to all bots - Power Usage. Enhancements can be used to permanently reduce a bot's power usage, making your energy management more efficient.
New Bots:
  • We're excited to introduce two new types of bots – the Smelting Bot and the Fishing Bot.
    • The Smelting Bot can smelt any items placed in a chest within its vicinity.
    • The Fishing Bot automatically fishes in nearby bodies of water.
Balance Changes:
  • In line with these changes, we've rebalanced all bots to ensure a fun and fair gameplay experience.
    • Slaying Bot
    • Farming Bot
    • Mining Bot
    • Fishing
    • Smelting
    • Seller
    • Bundler
Contests
Intro To Contests:
  • These timed challenges pit you against your fellow players in a variety of tasks that range from combat to resource gathering.
How Contests Work:
  • Contests are 30-minute challenges that begin every hour.
  • The challenge could be anything from "Kill Rabbits" to "Defeat Adventure Mobs"
  • The goal is to be among the top 10 players for that particular challenge.
Rewards:
  • Great competition deserves great rewards.
  • Here's what you could win:
    • 1st Place: 1 Slot and 25 Island Point Notes
    • 2nd Place: 6 Slot Scraps and 15 Island Point Notes
    • 3rd Place: 3 Slot Scraps and 10 Island Point Notes
    • 4th - 10th Place: 1 Slot Scrap each
  • All rewards will be automatically given at the end of each contest. (via /collect or automatically added into inventoy)

PvP Changes
PvP, one of the most thrilling experience, yet only a small majority are skilled at it! Let's make PvP a little more fun.

Introduction to Tiered Potions:
  • Tiered potions are a brand new way of healing in fights.
  • Tiered potions can be used depending on your adventure level
    • Adventure Level: 10 | [T1] Potion
    • Adventure Level: 35 | [T2] Potion
    • Adventure Level: 60 | [T3] Potion
  • You can obtain potions from chestloot in adventures.
Damage Changes:
  • Incoming and Outgoing Damage has been reworked for all adventures to make PvP more interesting.
As a side note, I'd like to say PvP is a hard thing to perfect, especially with the additions of engrams, purity, chaotic pieces, and many other factors. We hope that players can give us highly detailed suggestions to make PvP even more fun!

Pet Changes
Pets need more care. They need to be fed, trained, and taken care of! Let's give them that opportunity!

Introduction to Pet XP:
  • Pet XP is a brand new way to level all pet's without the use of rare candies.
  • You obtain pet XP by activating the pet's ability.
  • To level up a pet without using a rare candy, you will need to achieve the pet's XP threshold.
Pet Changes:
  • Rare candies will now have a 24hr cooldown to prevent instantly boosting a pet to max level.
  • Dire Wolves have been nerfed from level 5 --> level 3
  • Dire Wolves will now not count towards island XP
  • Buffed Cash Drop Signifcantly
  • Backpack Pet is vaulted

New Skins/Masks
Diversity is important in PvE, Islands, PvP, etc. Skins help us get to that level. I think adding some more wouldn't hurt!

New Skins:
  • Witches Hat: Take 15% less DMG from adventure mobs
  • 40k Golden Chain: +5% sell price
  • Selfie Stick: Chance to kill multiple island mobs | Sword Skin
  • Staff Pass: 10% Chance for 2x AP | Amulet Skin
  • Camoflauge: Yeezys | Immunity to slowness | Boot Skin
  • Royal Crown: Chance to get +1 items from minibosses & bosses | Helmet Skin
  • Deadpuddle: Deathbringer IV | Helmet Skin
  • Morning Star: Chance to daze your opponent | Axe Skin
Combat Loggers
Intro to Combat Loggers:

  • Combat Loggers are a way to prevent players from easily leaving chaotic adventures.
  • A combat logger will spawn when a player disconnects/leaves the server whilst neutral or chaotic. This logger will contain all the information of the player as if the player was still there.
  • The combat logger will save the logged player's stats when they logged out. (If you logged out with 1200/5300 HP, your combat logger will spawn with 1200 HP)
  • If you accidently disconnect whilst chaotic or neutral, no worries, you can log right back in and pick up where you left off.
  • Combat loggers will only spawn if you're neutral or chaotic.
    • Neutral Combat Logger Despawn Time: 30s
    • Chaotic Combat Logger Despawn Time: 60s
  • Once your combat logger has despawned, and you log in, you'll be teleported safley to hub.
  • Combat loggers at the moment only work in adventures.
Chat Filter
This was surprisingly one of the more requested featuresl. Chat filters for how toxic chat can get.

Intro to Chat Filters
  • Chat Filters are a way for players to decide how filtered they want their chat to be.
  • You can choose this option by running /toggle
  • You will be defaulted to strict filters (swears will not be visible)
  • If you disable the strict filters, racist remarks will still be disabled (for obvious reasons).
  • If you manage to bypass the filter so players with the strict filter can see profanity/racist remarks, you may be tempmuted/tempbanned depending on the severity.
Mass Unban
We think everyone here needs a clean slate. We will be unbanning all players except people who have chargedback, or have given DOX & DDOS threats. If you were banned for chargebacking, please contact [email protected]
